It was announced on Facebook in early October, with over a thousand people interested and over 250 confirmed to attend.
The party will welcome Cheltenham with live music & DJ sets, a £500 giveaway, drinks, competitions and a free photo booth. The High Street opening of this 8,000 square foot store will feature shelves filled with stylish clothes, thrifty finds and homeware.
A spokeswoman from the Brewery Quarter said: “We’re very much looking forward to them opening. It sets the tone of the scheme going forward and the retailers who we’re hoping will come off the back of this opening.”
The store is currently still under construction ahead of the opening next week. It is plastered with bright yellow signs, which illuminate the corner of the High Street and Bennington Street. The signs says “Urban Outfitters coming soon” and “come work with us”.

Many young people from Cheltenham travel to Cabot Circus in Bristol to shop, it’s hoped that the new store will channel trade back into the town.
After starting out as a boutique in 1970s Philadelphia, the store is now home to brands such as Vivienne Westwood, Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger.
The Cheltenham store is set to be the 30th to open in the UK.
