“Community is a major part of the tennis culture at our clubs and with social events and a steady supply of tennis enthusiasts, it’s easy to find new people to play”.
Partners will be allocated on the day and then teams will compete against each other on one of nine tennis courts available. The David Lloyd Club in Gloucester has six indoor courts and 3 outdoor courts at its disposal for use on Saturday. For members, they offer a professional level of tennis coaching and run their ‘All Stars junior coaching programme’ for people aged 3-18 years.
The establishment also boasts a spa, a gym, badminton courts and a selection of swimming pools for those not interested in the tennis social.
Guests are asked to book individually online where a £5 fee will be added to their David Lloyd account, which can then be paid upon arrival at reception.
For this price, participants will be included in the scheduled matches and will receive a drink and light refreshment at the end of the event.
The club have urged those interested to register for tickets as soon as possible. There is a new capacity of only 24 spaces.
They warn “sign up now to avoid disappointment”.
