Police are appealing for witnesses after a domestic row turned violent on Monday, with a woman being pushed to the ground and threatened with scissors.
The incident happened in Providence Park, off Princess Elizabeth Way in Cheltenham.
The victim reported the incident to the police prompting the offender to snatch a phone from the victim, and throw it in a nearby brook.
