Real Italian food comes to Cheltenham

Pizza, dough balls, olives and spaghetti. Fresh and traditional Italian food will be hitting Cheltenham’s streets this week.

The Promenade will play host to the Italian food market, as Italia in Piazza comes to Cheltenham for the first time tomorrow and Saturday.

There will be 17 stalls selling all types of fresh Italian food, with a range of savoury meals and tasty treats for the town’s pizza loving public.

Cheltenham already has a handful of Italian style restaurants, but Italia in Piazza will offer up something new for the town.

And when they say made in Italy, they mean real Italian foods served by real Italians.

Our reporter Joe Marques will be there tomorrow to take in the atmosphere and speak to people at the market enjoying the food.
