A 25 year old man from Stockport has been arrested in connection with a sexually explicit video of a child which is being shared throughout schools across the country.
Gloucestershire police have urged parents to search their children’s phones for a sexually explicit video featuring a unknown child and teenager after it became evident that the video had been shared in at least one Gloucestershire school.
They have reiterated the words of Thames Valley Police who said, “We are aware of an explicit video involving a child which has been distributed via social media”.
They went on to add that, “If you have received this explicit video on Snapchat, Instagram or by any other means you must delete it immediately”.
There is now great concern that it’s not only the teenager in the video who could face prosecution but all those who shared the video via Snapchat and other social media platforms the police warned that “If you show this video to someone else or forward it on to other people you could be committing a criminal offence, which the police may investigate and consider prosecution.”
Julie Alison , who’s child is a student at Cotham School in Bristol told UoGlos live that “parents have lost control”.
