After becoming a heartthrob and stealing the nation’s attention on ITV2’s most viewed show. Love Island’s Frankie Foster is set to turn on Cheltenham’s Christmas lights to bring the much needed festive cheer this cold winter.

The University of Gloucestershire alumnus, has been confirmed as the celebrity switching on the Regent Arcade Christmas Lights this year. Frankie previously said, “Sod the club openings, It’s always been my dream to just dress up as Santa and light up my hometown.”
Frankie will be standing alongside Father Christmas and the iconic North Pole family, when he takes the stage on Saturday 24 November at 4:30pm.
The event is completely free. Festive families can head to Regent Arcade to give Christmas a big Cheltenham welcome. The event will see an award winning Santa’s Grotto, mulled wine, seasonal light displays and a giant twinkling reindeer – honestly, what’s not to love?
Promising a festive day out, the Christmas Launch also offers the chance for you to cross gifts of the wish list, with shops such as Tiger, HMV, Claire’s, Smiggle, Apricot clothing store, Topshop and The Body Shop.
