The degree gives you an excellent foundation in software development, programming websites, web design, and information systems. The course will provide you with an understanding of Windows and its application software, including Word 2002 for Windows word processing, spreadsheets and database management systems graphic presentation software, and the Internet. Additionally it will provide you with information about the security of computers and e-commerce issues.
Typically, the teaching process will be through lectures and seminars, with many courses including laboratory-based computing exercises. Additionally, you will be expected to undertake independent study and research both at home and at the university.
