“System change, not Climate Change”: Cheltenham’s economic future

We are in a time of political uncertainty. Brexit has been delayed by a further two months, a General election is looking likely in December, all while tackling a climate emergency.
In Cheltenham, it feels just as uncertain. As it is often a swing seat, Alex Chalk’s place as MP seems unstable, and the Liberal Democrats could see a win in this area.
At the Vision 21 climate emergency question time, Alex Chalk held strong in his believes of a strong economy, and a cleaner Cheltenham, if the Conservatives win. But Molly Scott Cato, Green MEP, wanted a complete change in how the UK’s economy is run, to protect our environment.
