This family run business has created a respected brand in the Cheltenham music scene. Being virtually one of the only records stores to remain in the town, Badlands offer an extensive collection of both vinyl and CD. What differs Badlands to other musical retailers in Cheltenham is that they have been trading for over 30 years, keeping the music selected true to the tastes of owner Phil Jump.

A prestigious day in the Badlands calendar is Record Store Day, where they host live performances, exclusive deals and food till late in the evening. If you want to pay a visit to a store that will fit you with a feeling of nostalgia, Badlands is a great place to go.

2) Monty Smith 

At the head of the Promenade is Monty Smith, a independent fashion boutique stocking high end brands. Monkey Genes, Fly and Replay are some of their best sellers as they are hard to come by in the shopping district.

Founded in 1994, Browsers Vintage is a cosy emporium just off of Cheltenham High Street. Browsers also have a hiring service for themed parties including army and flapper outfits.
