Halloween Frightmare returns with celebrity guests

One of Gloucester’s most popular Halloween attractions is back – and it’s just as terrifying as ever.

Frightmare is an annual event at Over Farm which draws adrenaline-junkies from all over with hopes of being scared witless.

Gloucester Rugby player Charlie Sharples is among the latest to visit the farm this year.

He went along with the rest of Gloucester Rugby Club, but they’re not the only local celebrities to visit this year. Emmerdale’s Ash Palmisciano was there on Saturday for their ‘Dead Carpet’ event.

The festival is now in its 17th year and has five different live events across 13 nights. Caged, Haunted Hayride and Séance follow on loosely from some previous year’s storylines, but Wonderland and The Offering introduce new spaces and themes.

Previous years have seen pregnant women, people with heart conditions and those with high blood pressure turned away due to fears that they might not respond well to the event.

Frightmare is on until October 31 at Over Farm, Gloucester.
