Black History Month- “I was made in Africa”

“Born in Gloucestershire but made in Africa”, Kulchalee, an African drummer that runs workshops in Gloucestershire to educate children in diversity, has brought a little part of Africa to Cheltenham to celebrate Black History Month.

Through the love of music, Kulchalee is driven to educate children about the differences of culture in countries. His drumming workshops in Gloucestershire bring children from all backgrounds together and opening their eyes to a way of life that they have probably never seen.

Kulchalee tells us what he has been doing and why:

Black history month is celebrated in America, Canada and the United Kingdom, although America and Canada celebrate the month in February rather than October.
