With Halloween over and Christmas approaching at the blink of an eye, the next thing to start planning is your staff Christmas party. With promises to take away the stress of doing everything yourself (although, you still have to talk to your colleagues) a lot of places are offering some scrumptious feasts and fun activities this Christmas season.

Here are some of our top choices on this year’s Christmas party venues.

Previously voted the number 1 place for a Sunday roast in Cheltenham, The Swan are offering both Christmas meals, and Christmas party buffets in their function room. Although the drinks prices are a little pricey, it makes up for it with the friendly staff, the Christmassy and edgy atmosphere and not forgetting the great food. From the 7th of November until Christmas Eve,  excluding Sundays, they are serving their Christmas dinners from turkey to steak. The Swan are even known for their great vegan options too and will also serve both mulled wine and mulled cider.

With 19-years of catering for Christmas meals, the Storyteller in the town centre certainly know how to show you a good time with some good food. With unique options such as kangaroo steaks and even putting a sea bream fillet on their menu, there is plenty of choice for everyone. Also having a cheaper lunch time menu for £4.95 less, where you and your staff members can pop down in your lunch break for lunch and a few bevvys.

If you are looking for something different this year rather than your standard Christmas meal, why not grab your office down to some glitz and glamour fun at a casino night? With a 3-course-meal and casino tables throughout the night, it will be just like being in Las Vegas.¬†You’ll be able to celebrate your winnings or drown your sorrows by taking advantage of the late night bar, and dance the night away with the resident DJ.

The more pricier option, yet more extravagant. Add a little sparkle to your Christmas outfit to add to the glitziness of Christmas as you enjoy a 3-course meal with your office mates with performances from Manchester band, Race the Horizon, fresh from their LA tour. Every year, the racecourse opts for a ‘white Christmas’ theme. which is bound to boost your Christmas spirits. But you will have to get your bookings in fast as there is only limited space left. Oh, and let’s not forget, there is a best-dressed competition, so be as extravagant and don’t forget to use your imagination.

If you fancy Christmas food with an Italian twist, why not head to Cheltenham’s vibrant pizza place? Including festive pizzas such¬†as their¬†Turkey Gobbler Christmas Special which is topped with roasted free range turkey, meatball, herb-roasted potatoes, caramelised onions, fresh sage and mozzarella. Let’s not forget their 7% ciders if you want to take away the dread of spending the night with colleagues you don’t want to spend all evening with. Their menu is completed with a glass of mulled cider.
